Project narrative
A grade-separated interchange, two overpass structures and drainage upgrades delivered under live traffic on a primary port-access corridor.
The challenge
Port container traffic could not be detoured, and the works crossed a fish-bearing watercourse with a strict in-stream window.
Our approach
Bridge girders were set during three overnight full closures agreed six months in advance. In-stream works were compressed into the August window with sediment controls audited weekly by a qualified environmental professional.
The outcome
Corridor opened one month early with no unplanned daytime closures and zero environmental non-compliance findings across the contract.
