The programme
Six practices on every site.
Hazard planning in preconstruction
Every project receives a site-specific safety plan before mobilization, covering hoisting, fall protection, confined space, traffic management and neighbouring-occupant exposure.
Weekly audits, published findings
Our safety coordinators audit each site weekly against a 92-point checklist. Findings and corrective actions are issued to the owner and consultant with the progress report.
Subtrade prequalification
Subcontractors are screened on WorkSafeBC standing, COR® status, incident history and their own written safety programme before they are invited to tender.
Daily field-level risk assessment
Crews complete an FLRA at the start of each shift and after any scope change. Supervisors hold stop-work authority without escalation.
Training funded in full
Fall protection, confined space, first aid, WHMIS, traffic control and equipment tickets are paid for by the company and tracked in a central competency register.
Environmental compliance
Erosion and sediment control, in-stream windows and hazardous-materials abatement are monitored by qualified environmental professionals on applicable sites.
